Meet Your Therapist – Katie Carey
Hi everyone, and welcome to Good Vibes! I’m Katie Carey, therapist and founder of Good Vibes Psychotherapy.
I began my clinical journey at The Meadows, a renowned trauma and addiction center in Wickenburg, AZ.
I had the privilege of co-facilitating groups with Pia Mellody and training under leading experts like Peter Levine and Patrick Carnes.
These experiences gave me a deep understanding of trauma, attachment, and recovery — and showed me that true healing starts with self-understanding.
I work through an attachment-based narrative lens, helping clients connect their past experiences with present-day challenges. This approach not only fosters healing but also builds self-compassion, which I believe is the foundation for lasting transformation.
